Q: My son is enrolled in a Half-Day program. Can he stay for lunch?
A: Yes. The Lunch Buddy Program (offered 12:00 to 12:50 daily) provides Half-Day students with a lunch from the school kitchen in a supervised setting with their classmates. The cost is an additional $10.00 payable in advance or at the time of pick-up.

Q: I'm expecting next year and won't need care until 2011. Can I send in an application now?
A: Yes. Applications are accepted at any time for rolling enrollment. While we can’t guarantee a space for your child, the sooner your paper work is in our office the better.

Q: Are there discounts for having more than one child enrolled at the school?
A: Beginning with the 2010-2011 school year, we will be offering a 5% sibling discount to full day students.

Q: I'm a teacher and have the summer off. Does the school operate during the summer?
A: Yes, The Children’s Center at Carolina Park operates year-round in a school year / summer class cycle.

Q: What is the school calendar?
A: The Children’s Center at Carolina Park operates year-round in a school-year / summer class cycle. The school year will run from August 9, 2010 through May 27, 2011, and summer classes will be held May 31, 2011 through August 2, 2011. The school observes 11 holidays during the year and provides teacher work days when the school is closed to students.

Q: What kind of food will be served?
A: The Children’s Center maintains an allergy-safe environment. The Food Service Manager creates menus in keeping with NAEYC standards and USDA guidelines, using fresh, seasonal vegetables and fruits to prepare healthful, nutritious snacks and meals.
